Plus, Park Seo Joon's character was a huge mess throughout the entire drama, and it was an exciting ride to watch Park Min Young's character restore his sanity accordingly. The chemistry was bold, flirty, and completely believable.

Everyone, their parents, friends, pets, cousins, and frenemies know this couple. Their chemistry was fiery, witty, and emotionally charged. The famous wine confession scene remains one of the most quoted K-drama moments globally to date. Imagine that!

Drama: The King: Eternal Monarch

This drama has everything. Parallel universes, royal tension, really bad guys, really good guys, slow-burn romance, and a goofball who is supposed to have it all together (We're sure you know who it is). 

Their dynamic balanced elegance and vulnerability, which made the fantasy storyline feel intimate and personal. There's that one scene in the drama where we all lose it, screaming because the queen must be protected. And we're still not over how beautifully the entire story came together in the end.

This couple brought back classic rom-com energy. Their relationship had everything that made us fall in love with those iconic 2016 kdramas. We got fake dating, contract relationships, hilarious misunderstandings, and chemistry that felt natural and playful from episode one. Our favourite part of this, though, was how unhinged this couple was. For every crazy action raised by Kim Sejeong's character, Ahn Hyoseop's pterydactyl met her band for band. We absolutely loved it!

A romance between a real-world surgeon and a webtoon character? Only in K-dramas.

These two made us cry, laugh, scream, and pray for a love strong enough to traverse different worlds. Although the storyline was very unusual, their portrayal of the love story between the lead couple made it a worthwhile watch. Their chemistry carried the plot and made the impossible feel believable.
