She first showcased her talent with her contribution to the “He is Psychometric” drama’s soundtrack with the song “Shadows on the Wall.” She debuted officially after this in 2020 with her double single “Primitive.” She’s currently under Vitamin Entertainment, where she has steadily built a promising career.

This bond also reflects in their professional lives because Samuel participates in the composition of her albums. Her inspiration also comes from her daily life; she claimed her song “Tuna Fish” was inspired by canned tuna. This is a reflection of her ability to find an artistic muse in the mundane, polishing her authenticity. Janet is also an artist who shares her affection for animals with her fans. She shares her daily life with her dog, Dubu, and cat, Eunha with her followers, which creates a sense of relation with them.

In addition to her musical career, she also ventured into acting by picking up a role, Donna! (2023). She played Ji Soo, who is a member of the fictional group, Dream Sweet.
